later than March 10, 2005,you remove the improperly placed sign. Failure to
comply with the Ordinance by March 10, 2005, will prompt us to take more aggressive
action.
We have contacted MnDOT regarding possible other signage along TH 371 as we
discussed at the Planning Commission meeting. MnDOT has two types of signs—Guide
and Informational signs and Specific Service signs. The existing Industrial Park sign is
an"Informational"sign. Your type of business does not qualify for a"Specific Service"
sign. I am collecting information regarding the City's Industrial Park sign and will mail
that out this week.
Please understand our seriousness and commitment to uphold the Ordinances. We hope
you will take this opportunity to work with us and resolve this matter.
Sincerely,
Dawn Bittner
Zoning Administrator
CC: Planning Commission
Sandy Peine, City Clerk
Mark E. Forsberg, Chief of Police
MnDOT, Ken Larson
