U.S. Filter <br /> Council Member Sjoblad stated his concern about Brett being required to <br /> cover the department 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. He suggested that <br /> the City consider the option of hiring US Filter. Council Member Ryan <br /> indicated that he could contact US Filter and get some information to bring <br /> to the next Council meeting. Brett Twardy indicated that he does not want <br /> to work for US Filter. <br /> The Council asked Brett to contact the City of Breezy Point and the City's <br /> maintenance employees to see if they could assist during the month of <br /> September. <br /> 10. Police Report <br /> The Chief of Police presented the police report for August. <br /> 10.1. Resignation from Trina Marana <br /> The Chief indicated that Trina Marana has submitted her resignation. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO REGRETFULLY ACCEPT <br /> TRINA MARANA'S RESIGNATION. COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 11. City Engineer's Report <br /> MnDOT T.H. 371 <br /> Tim Houle noted that comments will be presented to the Council before <br /> the October Council meeting. He noted that the Council would discuss the <br /> issue at the October meeting and send the comments to MnDOT following <br /> that meeting. <br /> Peguot Boulevard/Marshall Street <br /> Discussion was held regarding whether the Council wanted to authorize <br /> WSN to submit a proposal for a study to calculate the natural drainage <br /> area for this particular area of the City. The Council requested the Clerk to <br /> see if there are funds available in the Storm Sewer fund for this study. <br /> Wastewater Treatment Plant MPCA Facility Plan <br /> Discussion was held regarding whether the City is planning for this project <br /> and if so when would the project take place.
