1 also met with Tony Murphy to discuss some of Beltrami County's concerns for this legislative session.
They included some excellent ideas on Health and Human Services,Truth in Taxation, .08 Legislation -
and ATVs.
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
What is bonding'
The best analogy is a credit card:The state can currently support a bonding bill (or credit limit, if you
will) of$530 million. We built in money to our budget last year to support minimum payments on this
amount. If we want Governor Pawlenty's larger bonding bill (or increase our credit limit),we need to
find an additional $28 million over the next 3% years. Once the state has borrowed the money,we
have 20 years to pay it off.
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
Town Hall Meeting
Don't forget our town hall meeting to discuss the future of sex offender laws in Minnesota.
