Request to Attend MRWA Water and Wastewater Technical Conference <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER JOHNSON MOVED TO AUTHORIZE BRETT TWARDY <br /> TO ATTEND THE MRWA WATER & WASTEWATER TECHNICAL <br /> CONFERENCE. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 10. Police Chiefs Report <br /> The Chief of Police provided a report on the Governor's conference, which he <br /> was invited to attend, regarding the death penalty. <br /> 10.1. Mallie Law Office Proposal <br /> The Chief of Police requested that this be withdrawn as a proposal has not yet <br /> been received. <br /> 11. City Engineer's Report <br /> Tim Houle, City Engineer, provided an update to the Council. <br /> 12.3. Request to Attend MCFOA Conference <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER JOHNSON MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY CLERK <br /> TO ATTEND THE MCFOA CONFERENCE IN MARCH. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 12.4. Reschedule March Meetinq <br /> The Clerk noted that the March meeting would have to be rescheduled due to <br /> caucuses being held on the regular council meeting date. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO HOLD THE COUNCIL MEETING <br /> ON MARCH 3, 2004. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 7.5. TIF Issues — Ehlers & Associates <br /> The City Clerk informed the Council that Ehlers has reviewed the City's TIF files <br /> and have found some discrepancies and past errors that should be corrected. <br />
