City Council Minutes <br /> February 3, 2004 <br /> Page 9 <br /> ---------------------------- <br /> �' Ehlers have proposed a plan to clean up all of the issues. The cost to clean up <br /> these issues can be recaptured by TIF administration fees. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO AUTHORIZE EHLERS AND <br /> ASSOCIATES TO PROCEED WITH THEIR PLAN TO CLEAN UP THE PAST <br /> TIF ISSUES. COUNCIL MEMBER JOHNSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 12.6. JOBZ Information <br /> The Clerk provided an update on the JOBZ zones. <br /> 12.7. Consider Special Meetinq Date for HRA Update <br /> The Clerk informed the Council that the HRA has suggested meeting with the <br /> Council to provide an update on current and future HRA projects. The Council <br /> indicated that this is a good idea and authorized the Clerk to arrange a meeting <br /> date. <br /> 12.8. Delinquent Water Accounts <br /> The Clerk requested the Council to consider writing off three delinquent water <br /> bills. Nancy Caputa stated in her memo that she has tried to contact the <br /> residents of the accounts but has been unsuccessful. <br /> The Council indicated that the Clerk should try to collect the money. The Clerk <br /> indicated that she would work with the County to certify the delinquent charges to <br /> the property taxes. <br /> 13.1. Request by Jerry Akerson to Attend Conference <br /> Council Member Akerson informed the Council that he would like to attend the <br /> Central Minnesota Initiative Fund Conference. <br /> 13.2. County Road 11 <br /> Mayor Malecha questioned whether the City Council was interested in <br /> contributing some money toward the County Road 11 shoulder expansion <br /> project. The Council questioned the long-range plan for C.R. 11. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO CONTRIBUTE $1,000 FROM THE <br /> PARK FUND TOWARD THE PROJECT. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> L <br />
