July 29, 2005 Page 6 of 8
Pequot Lakes
Government Drive Proposal
VI. Final Design & Construction Documents
Prepare final plans, specifications, and an opinion of probable construction
cost.
Prepare Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) National Pollutant
Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Stormwater Permit as
well as the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
Meet with City personnel for review.
Finalize plans and specifications based on City reviews. $29,800
Send to Crow Wing County Highway Department and MnDOT for possible
coordination with CSAH 11/Main Street and MnDOT's proposed 4-lane TH
371 improvements.
Any adjustments to this design from the County's or MnDOT's comments
would be treated as additional work and its scope would be determined
once the County's and MnDOT's comments were received.
The City is to pay any permit fees.
VII. Land Acquisition
It is our understanding that portions of Government Drive are or will be on
Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Right-of-Way(R/W).
We also anticipate that there will be some permanent easement and/or
property acquisitions required for the storm sewer system/infiltration $0
basins.
As the scope of such property work (surveys, plats, descriptions,
easements, acquisitions, recording, etc.) are not yet known, these tasks
would be treated as additional work and its scope would be determined
once the extent of the property work was determined.
CADocuments and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLKB\Government Drive proposal-July 29
2005.doc
