July 29, 2005 Page 4 of 8
Pequot Lakes
Government Drive Proposal
WSN proposes the following scope of services for completing the above anticipated
improvements:
Tasks Amount
I. Field Survey& Utility Locations
After appropriate office research, a field survey will be completed to provide
topographical information as well as utility locations. $14,400
This survey will need to extend outside Government Drive itself to obtain
information that will relate to the storm drainage system design.
II. Storm Drainage Preliminary Design
Layout a preliminary storm drainage collection system along with
appropriate discharge/infiltration basin locations.
Perform a preliminary hydrologic and hydraulic design for a 5-year design
storm. Check overflow routes and basin design for a 100-year design
storm.
Assist the City in determining possible locations, volumes needed, and
resulting areas/properties required for the infiltration basins.
This design will account for initial flow from the Government Drive corridor $7,600
and include a masterplan component to review flow from County Road 112
back to Government Drive.
Estimate the costs of the collection system and the infiltration basins.
Send this preliminary design to the Minnesota Department of
Transportation (MnDOT)for possible coordination with their storm sewer
system for the proposed 4-lane TH 371 improvements.
Any adjustments to this initial design from MnDOT's comments would be
treated as additional work and its scope would be determined once
MnDOT's comments were received.
CADocuments and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLKB\Government Drive proposal-July 29
2005.doc
