City of Pequot Lakes, MN <br /> 2005 Evenson Road Improvements <br /> TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br /> 9. Work may commence after Notice of Award from the Pequot Lakes City <br /> Council and shall be completed during the 2005 construction season <br /> prior to August 28, 2005. <br /> 10. The Standard Specifications for Construction (latest Edition) , as <br /> published by the Minnesota Department of Transportation, shall apply <br /> to this project, all materials, and all Work. <br /> 11. The City of Pequot Lakes reserves the right to inspect and test, at <br /> their own expense, any materials used in this project. <br /> This includes, but is not limited to: depth of material, compaction <br /> of material, analysis of Class 5 aggregate, and formula mix of the <br /> bituminous. <br /> Any materials and/or workmanship not meeting the specifications will <br /> be rejected without compensation to the Contractor. <br /> 12. The Contractor shall repair and replace any defective Work within <br /> one year after the date when final payment becomes due. <br /> B. SUBGRADE PREPARATION (MnDOT 2112) <br /> 1. The Work shall consist of furnishing all labor and equipment to <br /> shape the existing subgrade material. <br /> 2. The Contractor shall provide stakes for road alignment prior to the <br /> shaping of the existing subgrade material. Stakes should be placed <br /> at approximately 100-foot intervals with a one-foot (11 ) offset. <br /> C. PIPE CULVERTS (MnDOT 2501) <br /> 1. The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, material, and <br /> equipment to install a centerline culvert across Evenson Road <br /> approximately 1,800 feet north of Akerson Road. <br /> 2. Exact location and inverts of culvert to be as directed by City <br /> personnel on site at the time of installation. <br /> D. AGGREGATE BASE (MnDOT 2211) <br /> 1. The aggregate base shall be constructed in accordance with <br /> provisions of MnDOT 2211. <br /> 2.
