July 5, 2005 * * * DRAFT * * * Page 4 of 7 <br /> Pequot Lakes <br /> Government Drive Proposal <br /> WSN proposes the following scope of services for completing the above work: <br /> Tasks Amount <br /> Field Survey& Utility Locations <br /> A field survey will be completed to provide topographical information as <br /> well as utility locations. <br /> This survey will need to extend outside Government Drive itself to obtain <br /> information that will relate to the storm sewer system design. $xxxx <br /> Storm Drainage Preliminary Design <br /> Layout a preliminary storm sewer collection system along with appropriate <br /> discharge/sedimentation basin locations. <br /> Perform a preliminary hydrologic and hydraulic design for a_-year <br /> design storm. Check overflow routes for a 100-year design storm. <br /> Estimate the costs of the collection system and the discharge/ <br /> sedimentation basins. <br /> Send this preliminary design to Minnesota Department of Transportation <br /> (MnDOT)for possible coordination with their storm sewer system for the $xxxx <br /> proposed 4-lane TH 371 improvements. <br /> Any adjustments to this initial design from MnDOT's comments would be <br /> treated as additional work and its scope would be determined once <br /> MnDOT's comments were received. <br /> Feasibility Report <br /> Prepare feasibility report, including an opinion of probable construction <br /> cost, based on preliminary layout of street and storm sewer improvements. $xxxx <br /> Assessment Process <br /> Assist the City with preliminary assessment notices and hearing. <br /> Assist the City with final assessment notices and hearing. $xxxx <br /> Soil Borings <br /> Obtain soil boring/geotechnical report proposals for the City and assist <br /> them in selecting a consultant. $xxxx <br /> We are estimating the City should budget $4,000 for soil borings and a <br /> geotechnical report, the cost of which is not included in our scope. <br /> CADocuments and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLKB\Draft Government Drive proposal.doc <br />
