Evenson Road/McGill Street Improvements <br /> Tim Houle presented the specifications and ad for bids for both projects. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY TO <br /> ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR EVENSON ROAD AND MCGILL STREET <br /> PROJECTS. COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 10.3. R.O.W. Acquisition — Nagel Road <br /> The City Engineer requested this issue to be tabled to a later date. <br /> 10.4. Highway 371 Update <br /> Tim Houle updated the Council on the progress that has been made by <br /> the Highway 371 committee. <br /> The Council called a special meeting for Tuesday, July 19, 2005, 6:30 <br /> p.m. to discuss the Highway project. <br /> The quality of the blacktop in the Industrial Park was discussed by the <br /> Council and City Engineer. <br /> 11.1. Old City Hall <br /> Sheila Holley, Edina Realty, updated the Council on the sale of the City <br /> Hall. She indicated that the buyer has requested to extend the due <br /> diligence period by 30 days. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO EXTEND THE DUE <br /> DILIGENCE PERIOD TO AUGUST 12, 2005. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 11.2. Health Insurance Renewals <br /> The City Clerk indicated that the renewal health insurance rates are <br /> increasing by 27%. She explained the impact this would have on the City <br /> and on employees. <br />
