Request to Hire Firefighter <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER GREER MOVED TO HIRE KELLY LARSON AS <br /> VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER FOR THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 8.2. Homeland Security Resolution <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 05- <br /> 06 DESIGNATING THE NATIONAL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT <br /> SYSTEM (NIMS) AS THE BASIS FOR ALL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT <br /> IN THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 9. Maintenance Supervisor's Report <br /> `.. Report by Mike Loven. <br /> 9.1. Business Park Sign Cost and Design <br /> Mike presented two proposals for signs in the Industrial Park. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO TABLE THE MATTER <br /> UNTIL BUDGET DISCUSSIONS. COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 9.2. Marshall Street Drainage <br /> Mike Loven indicated that a meeting was held with Mr. Larry Lien to <br /> discuss options which involve Mr. Lien's land to solve drainage problems <br /> in the area. Mr. Lien will be considering the options and get back to the <br /> City by Labor Day with his decision. <br /> 10.1. Government Drive Proposal <br /> Engineer Tim Houle presented the Council with a proposal for engineering <br /> services for Government Drive improvements.
