Highway Map <br /> The Clerk informed the Council that MnDOT has provided a base map of <br /> the proposal for the highway to go around town. Following discussion on <br /> the highway issue, it was the consensus of the Council to have Council <br /> Member Sjoblad meet with MnDOT to request a more detailed map. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO CALL A WORK <br /> SESSION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ON NOVEMBER 15, 2006, AT 6:00 <br /> P.M. TO DISCUSS THE HIGHWAY ISSUE. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED THAT DAVE SJOBLAD <br /> CONTACT MNDOT TO DISCUSS THE NEED FOR A MORE DETAILED <br /> MAP OF THE AROUND TOWN ROUTE. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 12.7. Government Drive Funding <br /> The Clerk gave an update on funding opportunities that have been <br /> explored for the Government Drive project. <br /> 13. Maintenance Supervisor's Report <br /> Report by Mike Loven. <br /> 13.1. Purchase of Utility Trailer <br /> Mike Loven noted that the Street Department and Water/Wastewater <br /> Departments have discussed the idea of purchasing a utility trailer to <br /> share. He indicated that there are funds remaining in the Capital Outlay <br /> budget for 2006. He suggested that the Street Department pay two-thirds <br /> of the cost and the Water/Wastewater Department pay one-third of the <br /> cost. He noted that he received two bids for the trailer. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO APPROVE THE PURCHASE <br /> OF THE UTILITY TRAILER FROM AAA RENTAL, INC. EQUIPMENT <br /> AND SALES AT $8,299 WITH ALL OF THE FUNDS TO COME FROM <br /> THE STREET DEPARTMENT CAPITAL OUTLAY FUND. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION.
