City Council Minutes <br /> November 8, 2006 <br /> Page 6 of 9 <br /> --------------------------- <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER MOVED TO ACCEPT THE HAVA <br /> (HELP AMERICA VOTA ACT) IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,812. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER MOVED TO ACCEPT THE SAFETY <br /> GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,089. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 12.2. Performance Review Policy Addition <br /> The Clerk presented language to add to the Performance Appraisal Policy <br /> that addresses an unsatisfactory performance appraisal. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE AMENDMENT <br /> TO THE PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL POLICY WITH THE ADDITION <br /> OF LANGUAGE THAT ADDRESSES AN UNSATISFACTORY <br /> PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL. COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 12.3. Water Tower Agreement <br /> `., The Clerk noted that the City Attorney had some amendments to the <br /> Policy. She requested that the item be tabled. <br /> It was the consensus of the Council to table this item. <br /> 12.4. 6-Month Probation — Jeanyne Alderson <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER MOVED TO ACKNOWLEDGE <br /> JEANYNE ALDERSON'S SUCCESSFUL SIX-MONTH PROBATION <br /> PERIOD AS OFFICE ASSISTANT FOR THE CITY CLERK'S OFFICE. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 12.5. Upcoming Contracts <br /> The Clerk noted that the Council should look at renewing consultant <br /> contracts. It was the consensus of the Council to hold an interview with the <br /> City Planner and the City Attorney to discuss issues that have arisen <br /> during the year. Some of the issues include response time and <br /> relationship between the Planner and Attorney. The Council requested the <br /> Clerk to see if there are other planning consultant services available for <br /> the City. The Council also discussed the City Auditor and requested the <br /> Clerk to provide a proposal from the Auditor. The Council discussed the <br />
