-� <br />12.2 Regular part-time employees are entitled to vacation Ieave on a prorata basis <br />according to the number of hours they �vorked in the previous calendar year. The <br />prorata amount for ihe first year will be based on a projected number of hours that <br />the employee is expected to work. <br />12.3 An emplayee may accrue vacation Ieave, fi�om one calendar year to another, to a <br />maximum of one hundred twenty (120) haurs for regular fuli-time employees, and <br />ta a prarated inaximum for regular part-time employees, so long as such additianal <br />vacatian does not interfere with the efficient operation of the Poiice Department, <br />The maximum of one hundred twenty (120) hours for regular full-time, and the <br />proc•ated maximum for part-time employees, which may be carried over to the next <br />calendar year, may include any combination af compensatory time and vacation <br />leave up to a maximum of one hundred trventy {120) hours, subject to a maximum <br />of eighty (80) hours of compensatory time. <br />12.4 Vacation leave may be used subject to approval of the Police Chief or desrgnee. <br />Emp�oyees shall provide �vritten notice of requests for vacation leave of at least <br />five (5) days aY a time, with at least two (2) weeks advance notice given to the <br />Police Chief or designee unless the Police Chief or designee approves a lesser <br />period af notice. In the case of conflict as to requests for vacatian time off, the <br />request of the senior employee shail have priority. Once the vacation rec�uests � <br />have been approved, an employee may not use seniority to bump the approvec� <br />vacation of a less senior employee. <br />12.5 Vacation tnay be taken in one (I) hou�• minimum increments provided requests for <br />any such partial vacatian are made in advance and approved by the Police Chief or <br />designee. <br />ARTICLE 13 <br />UNIFORM/EQUIPMENT AL,LOWANCE <br />13.1 The Employer will pay a maximum uniform expense reimbursement of €e��five <br />hundred fl�dollars �$488:99� S 0 per year %r 24I3-�$4�8-�e�,'zA4��;-��.� <br />€e�9) !,$60p for 20141. The Employer shall require that unifarms for which <br />reimbui•sement is claimed be appraved in advance by the Police Chief, be <br />purchased through the Department and invoiced by tl�e vendor to the Department. <br />13.2 The uniform allowance is to be used for the following articles with pl•ior approval <br />of the Police Chief: <br />za�s�-� <br />i) Jacket/Coats (wintei•/summez•) <br />2) ShiF•ts, 'Turtlenecks or Mock Turtlenecks <br />3) Pants <br />13 <br />
