� <br />� <br />� <br />11.6 Employees shatl notify their supervisor by telephone or other means a# the earliest <br />opportunity �vhen they wiil be unable to report to work as scheduled because of <br />illness. Such notice siiall be given as soon as possible prior to the start of the shift <br />which will be missed because of illness or injuiy. <br />11.7 In the event of an employee death or disability, severance pay otherwise payable <br />under this Article shall be paid to ihe employee's benefciary as stated in <br />connection with any insurance policy issued under the provisions of Article 15. <br />Such pay shall be camputed at the employee's regular straight time hourly rate of <br />pay at the time of the disability, or death. <br />11.8 For employees receiving weekly benefits under the Workers Compensation Act, <br />accumulated, unused sick leave may be used to make up the difference between <br />such benefits and the employee's normal net earnings each period. <br />11.9 Regular part-time employees shall earn a prorata ainount hased an the number of <br />hours woi•ked in the previous calendar year. Vacation shall <br />be credited to an employee's account on a semi-monthiy basis. <br />12 <br />
