Park Dedication Fees <br /> Chuck Marohn indicated that the Planning Commission has discussed <br /> park dedication fees and has concluded that the City should continue to <br /> implement park dedication through the platting process. Mr. Marohn stated <br /> that the Planning Commission is recommending that the Park Board <br /> develop criteria for park dedication fees. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK MOVED TO DIRECT THE <br /> PARK BOARD TO DEVELOP CRITERIA FOR APPLICATION OF PARK <br /> DEDICATION FEES. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 6.4. Planning and Zoning 2005 Year-End Report <br /> Chuck Marohn reviewed the 2005 Planning and Zoning year-end report. <br /> 6.5. Planning and Zoning Services Proposal for 2006 <br /> The Council reviewed the proposal for services for 2006. The proposal <br /> included funding for the Sibley Lake Plan in the amount of$9,500. Council <br /> Member Greer indicated he would like to see a copy of the Twin Lakes <br /> Plan prior to committing to the Sibley Lake Plan. Council Member Greer <br /> also indicated that he would like to see utilities extended to Sibley Lake <br /> residents prior to committing to the Sibley Lake Plan. <br /> 10.3. Committee to Review Need for City Planner <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER GREER MOVED TO FORM A COMMITTEE TO <br /> RESEARCH THE POSSIBILITY OF HIRING A CITY PLANNER. THE <br /> COMMITTEE MEMBERS ARE AS FOLLOWS: COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> GREER, COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL, COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER, <br /> AND PLANNING COMMISSIONER CHAIR TOMMY WOOG. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT <br /> FOR PLANNING SERVICES FOR 2006 WITH COMMUNITY GROWTH <br /> WITH THE SIBLEY LAKE PLAN TO BE REMOVED FROM THE <br /> CONTRACT AT THIS TIME. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br />
