COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. 6.3. Park Dedication Fees Chuck Marohn indicated that the Planning Commission has discussed park dedication fees and has concluded that the City should continue to implement park dedication through the platting process. Mr. Marohn stated that the Planning Commission is recommending that the Park Board develop criteria for park dedication fees. COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK MOVED TO DIRECT THE PARK BOARD TO DEVELOP CRITERIA FOR APPLICATION OF PARK DEDICATION FEES. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. 6.4. Planning and Zoning 2005 Year-End Report Chuck Marohn reviewed the 2005 Planning and Zoning year-end report. 6.5. Planning and Zoning Services Proposal for 2006 The Council reviewed the proposal for services for 2006. The proposal included funding for the Sibley Lake Plan in the amount of$9,500. Council Member Greer indicated he would like to see a copy of the Twin Lakes Plan prior to committing to the Sibley Lake Plan. Council Member Greer also indicated that he would like to see utilities extended to Sibley Lake residents prior to committing to the Sibley Lake Plan. 10.3. Committee to Review Need for City Planner COUNCIL MEMBER GREER MOVED TO FORM A COMMITTEE TO RESEARCH THE POSSIBILITY OF HIRING A CITY PLANNER. THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS ARE AS FOLLOWS: COUNCIL MEMBER GREER, COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL, COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER, AND PLANNING COMMISSIONER CHAIR TOMMY WOOG. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR PLANNING SERVICES FOR 2006 WITH COMMUNITY GROWTH WITH THE SIBLEY LAKE PLAN TO BE REMOVED FROM THE CONTRACT AT THIS TIME. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0.
