He indicated that he will be at <br /> the next Council meeting to discuss this issue. <br /> 5.2. Consider Bids for 2006 Road Improvements <br /> Tim Houle presented the bids for the 2006 road projects. He indicated that <br /> there were two bidders and that Anderson Brothers was the low bidder. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO AWARD THE BID FOR THE <br /> 2006 ROAD PROJECTS TO ANDERSON BROTHERS AT $171,327.20. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 5.3. Park Board Update <br /> Del Anderson presented bids for installing a sprinkler system, black dirt, <br /> hydroseed, and grading and spreading the dirt in the Trailside Park. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK MOVED TO AWARD THE BID <br /> FOR WORK IN THE TRAILSIDE PARK TO ABEAR'S PEQUOT SAND <br /> AND GRAVEL AT $18,536. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED <br /> `. THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 5.4. Bobber Tower Land Lease <br /> Lisa Paxton from the Chamber of Commerce requested the Council to <br /> consider canceling the lease agreement for the Smokey Hollow Fish <br /> building. She indicated that the building is not a viable business operation. <br /> She further noted that the Chamber is requesting to discontinue paying <br /> the monthly fee of$150 for demolition of the bobber water tower. She <br /> indicated that the Chamber will continue to support the on-going <br /> maintenance of the bobber tower. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER GREER MOVED TO RELEASE THE CHAMBER <br /> OF COMMERCE FROM THE BOBBER WATER LEASE. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> Discussion pursued regarding the obligation to maintain the tower. Lisa <br /> Paxton indicated that a new agreement would be drafted showing the <br /> Chamber's commitment toward the maintenance of the bobber tower. <br /> Council Member Ryan requested that the maintenance obligation be <br /> separated from the lease of the building. <br />
