FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> 3.4. LIBRARY REPORT <br /> 3.5. RESOLUTION 06-16 ACCEPTING CONTRIBUTIONS FOR APRIL <br /> 2006 <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 3.2. Payment of Bills <br /> This item was tabled to item 8 on the agenda. <br /> 3.6. Update on Sale of Police Vehicles <br /> Council Member Nagel noted an error on the staff memo relating to this <br /> item. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE SALE OF <br /> THE POLICE VEHICLES TO THE HIGHEST BIDDERS. Purple Heart Memorial —Verbal Presentation <br /> Larry Mortenson requested Council permission to install a plaque in the <br /> City Trailside Park dedicating Highway 371 as the Purple Heart Highway. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER GREER MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE PURPLE <br /> HEART HIGHWAY PLAQUE TO BE PLACED IN THE TRAILSIDE <br /> PARK. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> Jack Schmidt indicated that there is a group of citizens who will be <br /> researching the legality of holding an election to allow the residents to vote <br /> on the highway issue.
