Brett indicated that the water was not metered. Council Member <br /> Ryan questioned whether the water should be allocated to the park fund. <br /> He requested Brett Twardy to estimate the usage and report to him. <br /> 9. Police Report <br /> Report by Chief of Police Braam. <br /> 9.1. Safe and Sober Resolution <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 06- <br /> 27 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT RELATING TO SAFE <br /> AND SOBER COMMUNITIES. MAYOR MALECHA SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 10. Maintenance Supervisor's Report <br /> Report by Mike Loven. <br /> 10.1. South Oak Street <br /> Mike Loven noted that the City is considering reconstructing South Oak <br /> Street and Marshall Street in 2007. He requested the Council to authorize <br /> the field survey work and the feasibility report from the City Engineer's <br /> report dated June 28, 2006, to be done this year. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE <br /> ENGINEERING SERVICES PROPOSAL FOR SOUTH OAK <br /> STREET/MARSHALL STREET IMPROVEMENTS TO ONLY INCLUDE <br /> THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS: <br /> FIELD SURVEY - $7,500 <br /> FEASIBLIITY STUDY - $6,500 <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> Mike Loven noted that the School District is working on a "Safe Routes to <br /> School" grant which could be used for the sidewalk on South Oak Street. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 11. PPL List Update <br />
