New Business:
After discussion, Nancy Adams moved, and John Longnecker seconded
to amend the By-Laws and Resolution #03128 of the City to read:
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City, with the approval of the Council, shall
appoint a board of seven members, a majority of whom will be from the city.
(this replaces who shall be residents of the city of Pequot Lakes;)
The Board also reiterated it's support of Ann Hutching for the open space
on the Library Board.
Motion carried unanimously. Lydia Loven will attend the City Council
Meeting on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, in case any Council Members have
questions.
John Longnecker brought up the idea of price guns to use as date stamps
for books, thus eliminating the need for the white stickers that frequently
cover important information. Nancy Adams will check into those as well as
the cash register type attachment that gives out a tape with information.
Claire Nagel moved to adjourn. Lydia Loven seconded.
