RESOLUTION #03128 <br /> A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A LIBRARY BOARD <br /> FOR PEQUOT LAKES LIBRARY <br /> Council member J. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> adoption: <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is required to establish a Library Board for the <br /> Pequot Lakes Library; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City, with approval of the Council, shall appoint a <br /> board of seven members who shall be residents of the City of Pequot Lakes; and <br /> WHEREAS, Library board members shall serve staggered three-year terms with <br /> all terms ending with the fiscal year; and <br /> WHEREAS, board members shall not be eligible to serve more than three <br /> consecutive three-year terms. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby establishes <br /> a seven-member Library Board for the Pequot Lakes Library. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> Council member M. Pfeiffer, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following <br /> voted in favor thereof: J. Johnson, T. Ryan, J. Bolz-Andolshek, J. Akerson, M. <br /> Pfeiffer, and D.
