Attendance
continues to be very good.
.• The Winter Reading Program was completed and was successful. All
participants received a gift of some sort, with the winner drawn from a hat
winning a snuggle blanket, for the "Snuggle Up With A Good Book theme.
A summer reading program is in the works and several grants have been
written to receive funds to support that program. Nancy Adams presented
five programs for the ECFC Program of the school district on the importance
of reading to your child and how the library can be of service.
Fundraising continues to be at a slow point right now but Lydia Loven
has received books by the author/presenter that are now entered into the
library system.
Old Business:
Nancy Adams is to call Bob Perkins at TDS to offer John Longnecker as
our liaison for the web site project.
The new shelving unit has been ordered and should be arriving any week.
It will be placed in the front room of the library to hold large print books and
young adult books.
