r <br /> The Mayor has six 8 foot heavy duty tables from the Historical Society for sale for <br /> $125.00. These could be used for the pancake breakfast. Loven motioned to purchase <br /> them, second by Mike Peterson, motion passed. Oaks, Szymanski, and Peterson II voted <br /> no. <br /> We got our new digital camera and accessories for$185.00. <br /> Bill purchased our new tools for the air room and the door is now locked. The new stokes <br /> basket is here and in on Rescue 2. Matt Zins installed new trim baseboard in the training <br /> room. <br /> We received a$1000.00 grant from Crow Wing Power that Tasha applied for. The money <br /> was used to purchase a new radio for Rescue 2, reprogram the old radio, and install the <br /> old one in the water tender. <br /> The Breezy station has an ambulance stationed there now. <br /> Probation is up next meeting for John Hayes, Scott Warner, and David Wilson.. Matt <br /> Zins is up in January. <br /> Oaks mentioned that Country Cooking is having an auction this Saturday and they have a <br /> couple grills for sale. <br /> IN-1 The fire Board meeting will be October 20 at 7:00 pm. There will be extra training on <br /> Tuesday, October 30a', which will be auto extrication with Fifty Lakes. Training for the <br /> 17th will be on ropes and the new stokes basket. <br /> The department is volunteering labor for the new habitat house in Pequot on Friday, <br /> October 5h from 8:30 to 1:00 pm. Be there if you can help. <br /> Bill would like to eliminate the two training officers and let the three captains step up to <br /> fill the training needs. He thinks we have too many officers and just wants to simplify <br /> things. <br /> Wendt motioned to adjourn, second by Zeimet„ meeting adjourned. <br /> PRESENT AT MEETING: Peterson I, Casanova, Oaks, Loven, Szymanski, Peterson II, <br /> Crist, Nelson, Nordby, Bridge, Rickard, Varilek, Knutson, Mike Peterson, Evenson, <br /> Larson, Schwankl, Zeimet, Tasha Carlson, Cerise, Wasserbauer, Wendt, Hayes, Warner, <br /> Wilson, Zins, and Council man Oraskovich.. Chris Carlson arrived too late for credit for <br /> meeting. <br />
