A motion was made by John Derksen, seconded by Roger Varilek,to recommend <br /> rezoning this parcel to Agriculture and to authorize Staff to withdraw recommendation if <br /> notified by property owner, based on the following Findings of Fact: <br /> 1. The rezoning to Rural Residential is consistent with the City's Comprehensive <br /> Plan and Future Land Use Map, which designates this property as a Rural <br /> Residential. <br /> 2. The rezoning to Agriculture would not be consistent with the City's Future Land <br /> Use Map, although the area to the west of this property is designated as future <br /> Agriculture area on the Map. <br /> 3. The rezoning to Rural Residential would not meet the - i�bility requirements <br /> for the Rural Residential zone, which indicates " t the zone may not be <br /> completely surrounded by Forest Management an d Ag ture zones. <br /> 4. The property does not meet the minimum lof size 0 for the Rural <br /> Residential zone, as it is just under 2 acres i", <br /> 5. The current property owner has a purch agreement in place the owner of <br /> ft <br /> the property surrounding the subject p y. <br /> 6. The adjoining property is zoned Agncu ands future property owner has <br /> indicated that he would like to have the subjperty zoned likewise. <br /> 7.
