and grass. The Planning Commission reminded him that the Ordinance has <br /> `.. standards for reforestation. This needs a Forest Management Plan. He wants a <br /> grassy field with few trees,not a tree every 6 feet. MPCA allows disturbing up to <br /> 1 acre. Keep 1 acre as field and reforest the rest. Would like to have area for the <br /> boys to play ball. It's a large, 23 acre parcel. He would like to have a couple <br /> acres clear. He will re-vegetate and plant some trees, not an orchard. Pretty little <br /> spot in the woods. Mary Peterson provided vegetation plan. Staff was given <br /> direction to work with him to re-establish ground cover,plant trees and let Mother <br /> Nature take over, and to maintain 2 acre area. He must follow the NPDES permit. <br /> The MPCA will re-inspect. He can move forward with restoration. <br /> 2. Industrial Park prices— <br /> 3. Rademacher letter—If he rents the corner lot,he could place a sign there. <br /> Remove the other sign. <br /> 4. Dan Helbling—The City Planner and Staff met with Mr. Helbling today. He has <br /> been waiting for approvals from the MPCA which he just recently obtained. He <br /> is now moving forward with the project. We are having the pre-construction <br /> meeting next week. He will be doing some grading measures and erosion control. <br /> Mr. Helbling will put something in writing on the County road improvements. <br /> 5. Roger Rudbeck—remove from enforcement action. Permanent hold until this <br /> issue is resolved. It is not our recommendation to bring litigation. <br /> 6. Jerry Atwater- <br /> 7. Heidmann—Staff has received an additional complaint on his property. His <br /> timeframe for compliance is August 25. <br /> 8. EarlHansen—Two Planning Commission members and Staff visited his property <br /> and recommend deep rooted,native plantings and no rip rap. <br /> ADJOURNMENT: <br /> A motion was made by John Derksen, seconded by Tom Adams,to adjourn the meeting. <br /> All members voted"aye". Motion carried.
