Councilman Nagel stated he appreciates the effort the Planning Commission has put into <br /> �- this and the business people will benefit from it for years to come. This is a strong <br /> statement that the City is not anti business. <br /> Mr. Marohn stated that on the third page, Prohibited Uses, Parking Standards should read <br /> 17-7.10, not 8.X. <br /> Mr. Williams stated the boundaries have not been set for this zone yet. The times of <br /> operation also need to be removed. Mr. Marohn concurred that the times of operation are <br /> to be removed and the intent is to do a district overlay map. <br /> A motion was made by Dean Williams, seconded by Tom Adams,to recommend the <br /> Ordinance amendment establishing Grow Zone Standards. All members voted"aye". <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Overlay Map will be brought for recommendation next month. <br /> ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO AGENDA: None. <br /> OPEN FORUM: <br /> Justin Bolz-Andolshek, 27546 West Twin Lake Drive addressed the letter from Don <br /> Babinski to Sheila Holley that was not read aloud, but made part of the record for the <br /> earlier Oppidan public hearing. Mr. Bolz-Andolshek stated it is basically a lie. He had <br /> met with Mr. Babinski and talked about a grocery store and buying some land. The site <br /> chosen was on the backage road for the through-town route for the highway. They had <br /> talked for about 45 minutes and Mr. Babinski stated he didn't want to sell him the land <br /> but would build a store. The bypass then was on the table. <br /> Mr. Bolz-Andolshek stated he spoke to Mr. Babinski about a month ago; this is not true. <br /> For the record,this is not factually correct. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> a. Metes and Bounds Subdivision,Paul Tucci, Oppidan,Inc. <br /> A motion was made by Dean Williams, seconded by Tom Adams,to table this request. <br /> All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> b. American National Bank Sign. <br /> Staff stated that American National Bank had requested a sign with a reader board on the <br /> back. The reader board is not allowed in the Ordinance. It would only be visible from <br /> the Drive Thru.
