They would like to start as soon after they get Council approval, with <br /> the building approval process. <br /> Mr. Tucci stated they could meet the 50%impervious coverage with their own pond. <br /> They can accommodate that by purchasing additional land from Mr. Babinski. They <br /> could change the landscaping plan by including more trees in the buffer zone,just not all <br /> of them. Their plan now has over 100 plant units. <br /> Mr. Marohn again suggested recessing this meeting to the 31St. Not all Commission <br /> members could be present due to prior commitments. <br /> Jean Pollnow: She asked if there would be a walkway with curbs on Olson Street. Mr. <br /> Marohn stated that Staff and the City Engineer would have to weigh in on that. <br /> Mr. Williams asked the City Engineer, Tim Houle, if he concurred that the water main <br /> could be moved. Mr. Houle stated the water main can be moved without problems <br /> although he did not have a dollar amount. <br /> Chairman Woog recommended tabling this matter. The applicant has the option to call a <br /> special meeting. <br /> Mr. Marohn recommends moving forward with the Rezone as requested. The applicant <br /> can proceed with the application as Downtown Mixed Use assuming the Council <br /> approves it and would like to see a modified plan to meet suggestions. Otherwise the <br /> applicant can pull the Rezone request and keep it Commercial. They can come back next <br /> month with a revised plan that conforms to the Commercial standards. <br /> A motion was made by Dean Williams, seconded by John Derksen,to table this request. <br /> All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> APPLICANT: Paul Tucci, Oppidan,Inc. <br /> Applicant requests a Variance to exceed 25 percent impervious coverage limit and a <br /> Variance from buffer zone vegetation requirements. <br /> A motion was made by Dean Williams, seconded by John Derksen,to table this request. <br /> All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> APPLICANT: City of Pequot Lakes. <br /> Applicant requests an Ordinance amendment establishing Grow Zone standards. <br /> Mr. Marohn explained the desire to rid of the regulatory environment in the downtown <br /> area.
