The proposed sign <br /> will be placed on the existing westerly pole. <br /> The proposed reader board is a digital sign that does not flash and is not intermittently lit. <br /> The letters are made out of light and are not allowed. <br /> Discussion followed regarding intent of the ordinance and their desire for a digital sign. <br /> The Planning Commission suggested amending the ordinance before allowing a digital <br /> sign. <br /> Public comment: <br /> Brandon: same position as DQ. If you talked to others denied sign permits,they would <br /> tell you that ordinance is overly restrictive. PL sign ordinance is extremely restrictive.
