This Compliance Inspection indicates <br /> that your Subsurface Sewage Treatment System is not compliant and in need of <br /> replacement. <br /> The Pequot Lakes City Code states that "A failed septic system shall be upgraded <br /> replaced or repaired. . . within ten months from the date it was determined to be failed. . <br /> ." The City Code further states that "The owner shall submit to the Planning and Zoning <br /> Department an acceptable replacement design and apply for a septic permit within thirty <br /> (30) days after notification by the Department.. . . Failure to submit and execute an <br /> acceptable replacement design is a violation of this ordinance. " <br /> Your septic system will need to be replaced during this construction season. You will <br /> need to submit a new design no later than July 2,2009.
