� <br />City Council Minutes <br />July 3, 2012 <br />Page 4 of 7 <br />the mural was a community project. The Mayor thanked Mary Pfeiffer who <br />aliowed the project to take place on her building. The Mayor also thanked <br />Mr. Guenther and all those present who were involved in the project. <br />5.2. Presentation to Fave Tweed <br />Mayor Adams presented Faye Tweed with a proclamation proclaiming <br />July 14th as Faye Tweed Day. The presentation was done in recognition of <br />her support of the community working on the Park Commission. <br />5.3. Music General — Council Meetinq Plavback <br />Dan Kuhn from Music General discussed the existing situation and quality <br />of the video equipment and playback of the Council meetings on the cable <br />TV public access channel. He provided the Council with a quote for <br />equipment upgrades that he believes is necessary to improve the quality <br />of the video and audio. He also suggested that in the future the City <br />consider adding a City logo on a backdrop and constructing a new council <br />dais. Dan noted that the equipment would require a person to run the <br />cameras. <br />�- COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO GET A SECOND BID ON THE <br />EQUIPMENT USING THE SPECIFICATIONS PROVIDED BY MUSIC <br />GENERAL. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />Mayor Adams stated that she is hesitant to spend the money for this <br />project due to the tight budgets. <br />MOTION CARRIED 2-1. MAYOR ADAMS OPPOSED. <br />5.4. BLAEDC — EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE PRESENTATION <br />Sheila Haverkamp and John Gunstad were present to introduce the <br />executive initiative. Sheila showed a short video regarding the initiative <br />and introduced two executives who spoke about the program and their <br />particular roles in the program. <br />6.
