Mike Loven stated that if the <br /> County causes the damage, the County would pay for those repair costs. <br /> Council Member Pederson questioned the maintenance of the inside of <br /> the roundabouts at the City's expense. Mayor Sjoblad noted that there will <br /> be a whole aesthetic section for this job that will need to be analyzed. <br /> Council Member Pederson noted that there is no vegetative plan in this <br /> Agreement. Mike Loven stated that we should be able to work with the <br /> County on this but the County may not be concerned about these details if <br /> the City has to maintain it. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br /> CONSTRUCTION COST SHARE/MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN CROW WING COUNTY AND THE CITY OF PEQUOT <br /> LAKES FOR NUMEROUS ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS RELATED TO <br /> THE MNDOT TH 371 FOUR-LANE EXPANSION/BYPASS PROJECT. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER KARR SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 9.3. MnDOT Highway 371 Design-Build Team Selection <br /> Tim Houle informed the Council that the apparent design-build contractor <br /> for the new four-lane Highway 371 project is Mathiowetz Construction. He <br /> noted that various contractual matters need to be accomplished before <br /> Mathiowetz Construction is officially awarded the design-build contractor. <br /> Mr. Houle stated that future interactions will take place with the City on <br /> traffic control issues. <br /> 9.4. MnDOT Highway 371 Master Utility Agreement <br /> Tim Houle explained the Master Utility Agreement (MUA) is for the existing <br /> forcemain from the City proper to the wastewater treatment facility. This <br /> forcemain will be under the new highway. Back in July, the City Council <br /> approved the Agreement with a contingency on language issues. Mr. <br /> Houle met with MnDOT to clarify these language issues and <br /> recommended that Mayor Sjoblad and Mike Loven be assigned as <br /> authorized representatives for review of this project. MnDOT will <br /> reimburse the City up to $25,000 for expenses incurred for design review <br /> and construction observation. <br /> 9.5. MnDOT Highway 371/CSAH 11 Bridge Aesthetic Agreement <br />
