COUNCIL MEMBER KARR SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 9.2 Trailside Park Restroom Facility <br /> Tim Houle reviewed the Trailside Park restroom facility bids received <br /> Council Member Loukota stated that the bids were too high. <br /> Council Member Akerson questioned what caused the higher than <br /> expected bid prices. Mr. Houle noted that changes by the Park <br /> Commission and the City Council relating to aesthetics and utility services <br /> due to location caused the higher prices. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVE TO REJECT ALL BIDS <br /> RECEIVED FOR THE TRAILSIDE PARK RESTROOM FACILITY. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 4-0. <br /> (Council Member Pederson arrived at 7:00 p.m.) <br /> 9.3 Request to Purchase City Vehicle <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE TRADE- <br /> IN OF THE 2001 CHEVY BLAZER AND PURCHASE OF A CITY <br /> VEHICLE AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $15,000 WHICH WILL BE <br /> FUNDED BY GENERAL FUND BALANCE. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> Council Member Akerson questioned if local dealerships would be offered <br /> the option to submit a quote for the City vehicle. Mayor Sjoblad stated <br /> that all three local dealerships would be offered the option to quote. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA AMENDED THE PREVIOUS MOTION <br /> TO INCLUDE THAT VEHICLE QUOTES WILL BE OBTAINED FROM <br /> ALL THREE PEQUOT LAKES CAR DEALERSHIPS. MAYOR <br /> SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> THE MOTION AS AMENDED CARRIED 5-0. <br />
