COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 8.2. Prosecution Agreement with Mallie Law Office <br /> Chief Kiang presented the prosecution agreement with Mallie Law Office <br /> for 2012. He noted that the cost is the same as 2011. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br /> PROSECUTION AGREEMENT WITH MALLIE LAW OFFICE FOR THE <br /> YEAR 2012. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 9. Public Works Department <br /> Report received by Council. <br /> 9.1. Request for Utility Refund — Earl Hemmerich <br /> Mike Loven reported that Earl Hemmerich is requesting a sewer utility <br /> credit due to a break in the water line. Mike noted that the policy does <br /> allow for such credits contingent on Council approval for anything over <br /> $100.00. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO GRANT A SEWER UTILITY <br /> CREDIT TO THE PEQUOT TERRACE ACCOUNT IN THE AMOUNT OF <br /> $567.07 DUE TO A BREAK IN THE WATER LINE. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10. City Engineer <br /> 10.1. Government Drive <br /> Tim Houle presented the scaled down Government Drive reconstruction <br /> project. He explained that this concept basically deals with pavement mill <br /> and inlay and some new pavement areas for parking at an estimated cost <br /> of$336,000. <br /> Council Member Ryan questioned whether the existing road is at its useful <br /> life. Mike Loven stated that it is not in very good shape. <br />
