City Council Minutes <br /> July 7, 2015 <br /> Page 5 of 8 <br /> MAYOR SJOBLAD MOVED TO AUTHORIZE A SUMMARY <br /> PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE 15-05. COUNCIL MEMBER KARR <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 6.3. Ordinance Amendment Regarding the Rural Residential Zoning <br /> Classification <br /> Dawn Bittner explained the Planning Commission's recommendation of <br /> removing the maximum accessory structure size in the rural residential <br /> zone. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 15- <br /> 06 AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE REGARDING THE <br /> RURAL RESIDENTIAL ZONING CLASSIFICATION. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER KARR SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 7. Fire <br /> 7.1. Fire Department Job Descriptions <br /> Tom Nelson reviewed the revised job descriptions of Firefighter, <br /> Secretary, Safety Officer, Captains, Assistant Chiefs, and Chief with the <br /> Council. Chief Nelson stated that these descriptions have not been <br /> updated since 2006 and the officer positions have an increased years of <br /> service requirement. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE REVISED <br /> JOB DESCRIPTIONS FOR FIREFIGHTER, SECRETARY, SAFETY <br /> OFFICER, CAPTAINS — 1ST, 2ND, 3RD, ASSISTANT CHIEFS — 1ST, 2ND, <br /> AND CHIEF 1. COUNCIL MEMBER KARR SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> Chief Nelson informed the Council that the fire department served 1,565 <br /> people at their July 4th pancake breakfast. <br /> 8. Police <br /> 8.1 School/Police Liaison Contract <br /> Eric Klang reviewed the 2016 Police - School Liaison Officer Agreement. <br /> The Agreement runs from September 8, 2015 through May 2016 at <br /> $3,333.33 per month which is the same amount as the 2015 contract. <br /> Chief Klang stated that Officer Chad Nangle is currently the school <br />
