City Council Minutes <br /> July 7, 2015 <br /> Page 4 of 8 <br /> • Finance Administrator/Deputy City Clerk— This is a position change <br /> to City Clerk/Treasurer from 290 job points to 334 job points and a <br /> wage recommendation from step 11.5 ($23.75/hour) to step 11.5 <br /> ($25.77/hour) on September 28, 2015. <br /> • Zoning Administrator/Administrative Specialist—This is a position <br /> change to Zoning Specialist from 243 job points to 251 job points <br /> and a wage recommendation from 11.5 ($21.60/hour) to step 11.5 <br /> ($21.96/hour) on September 28, 2015. <br /> Council Member Akerson questioned the budget impact for these <br /> changes. Ms. Peine stated that this impact is $23,917 which includes a <br /> city administrator salary of approximately $75,000 which may be subject to <br /> change. <br /> MAYOR SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE NEW JOB <br /> DESCRIPTION FOR THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND THE REVISED <br /> JOB DESCRIPTIONS FOR THE DEPUTY CITY CLERK, CITY <br /> CLERK/TREASURER, AND THE ZONING SPECIALIST. <br /> FURTHERMORE, THE JOB POINTS AND WAGE <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS BE APPROVED AS PRESENTED BY THE <br /> PERSONNEL COMMITTEE. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 6. Planning and Zoning <br /> 6.1. Planning Commission Report <br /> The June 29, 2015 Planning Commission Report and the June 18, 2015 <br /> Planning Commission Regular Meeting minutes were received by Council. <br /> 6.2. Ordinance Amendment Regarding Appeal Process <br /> Dawn Bittner explained that per the Council's suggestion, the Planning <br /> Commission reviewed the appeals process ordinance in relation to the <br /> timeline to file an appeal. The Commission recommended that the "intent <br /> to appeal" shall be filed with the City Clerk within fifteen (15) days of the <br /> decision. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 15- <br /> 05 AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE REGARDING <br /> APPEALS PROCESS. COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />
