City Council Minutes <br />March 4, 2024 <br />Page 6 of 8 <br />----------------------------- <br /> <br />speaking with Mr. Houle, it was said that we need to have a plan and design to <br />get this project moving. <br /> <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON MOVES TO APPROVE WIDSETH <br />COMPLETING PROPOSAL AND DESIGN FOR THE USE OF DNR GRANT <br />MONIES. COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIES 4-0. <br /> <br /> Discussion of a special meeting in March ensues. Council Members agree to <br />have a Special Council Meeting on Friday, March 22nd at 4:30 pm to keep things <br />moving with this grant. <br /> <br />10. Administration <br /> <br />10.1 Administration Report <br /> <br /> Report is attached for review. Council Member Ronning comments on it being a <br />nice report. <br /> <br />10.2 Sourcewell Impact Funding Resolution <br /> <br /> Ms. Duus updates saying previously, we were told that we could only apply for <br />this funding every two years. However, we have been made aware that we are <br />eligible to reapply for funding again. We are asking Council Members to adopt <br />Resolution 24-11 to approve seeking funding through Sourcewell for upgrades <br />and equipment. <br /> <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RONNING MOVES TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 24-11 TO <br />APPROVE SEEKING FUNDING THROUGH SOURCEWELL FOR CITY HALL <br />UPGRADES AND TECHNOLOGY. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIES 4-0. <br /> <br />10.3 Trailside Estates Update <br /> <br /> Ms. Duus states this has been in a somewhat of a holding pattern. All the <br />properties in the development need to have taxes paid, which won’t happen until <br />October 15th. <br /> <br /> Discussion ensues on possibilities of moving things forward prior to October 15th, <br />but that would include getting creative to be sure the taxes would be paid. <br /> <br />10.4 P&Z Commission Appointment <br /> <br /> Mayor Gardner states we have one applicant for the vacancy on the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission, Paul Luger. <br /> <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT MOVES TO APPOINT PAUL LUGER TO THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION FOR A PARTIAL TERM EXPIRING DECEMBER 31,
