It is anticipated this new organizational structure would result in additional salary <br /> costs for the modified positions. The possible financial impact is listed below: <br /> Position Current Projected Difference <br /> � <br /> Salary Salary <br /> ry <br /> Revised Ci Clerk/Treasurer $49,400 $55,000 $5,600 <br /> r. # <br /> Total Difference $21,042 <br /> There is a possibility of a small adjustment for the Zoning Administrator/ <br /> Administrative Specialist as well, but that is not likely because many of the duties <br /> transferred would simply be more of the same type of responsibilities. <br /> For the Council's information, sample salary information for Administrators in <br /> similarly sized communities is attached. <br /> Option 3: Hire an Administrator/Clerk and maintain other positions <br /> This option creates a new position of Administrator/Clerk. This position would keep <br /> the duties of the current clerk and add in supervisory and organizational <br /> management responsibilities. This would require adjustments to the current clerk <br /> job description that pertain mostly to supervision and organizational management. <br /> Basically, the position would be upgraded to take on supervision of department <br /> heads, organizational management and other duties typically included in an <br /> administrator position. <br /> With this option, the remaining positions in the organization do not change. What <br /> does change is that reporting relationships are established and the <br /> Administrator/Clerk position will have supervisory responsibilities so some of the <br /> positions will no longer report to the Council, but to the new Administrator. <br /> This option is displayed on the following page. <br /> 6 <br /> DAVID <br /> DROWN <br /> ASSOCIATES <br />
