Option 2: Hire an Administrator and Convert Finance Administrator <br /> Position to Clerk/Treasurer <br /> This option builds upon the existing organizational structure and talents of the staff <br /> presently in place. In this scenario, an administrator would be hired to manage the <br /> organization and carry out many of the duties of the current clerk position. The <br /> administrator would also be responsible for organizational management and <br /> supervision of the department heads. <br /> The second component of this option promotes the Finance Administrator/Assistant <br /> Clerk to a Clerk/Treasurer for the organization. This position would more <br /> encompass the traditional clerk duties, as well as, existing higher level finance work <br /> that are currently included in the Finance Administrator position. Duties such as <br /> utility billing, payroll, website maintenance and some lower level finance work <br /> would be shifted to the Administrative Finance Assistant position. <br /> In order to create capacity for the Administrative Finance Position the position of <br /> Zoning Administrator/Administrative Specialist would take on additional <br /> administrative support duties for the Clerk and Administrator. <br /> This option does not add any positions to the organization, but it does change three <br /> existing positions in the organization. In summary, the current clerk position <br /> becomes an administrator, the Finance Administrator becomes a Clerk/Treasurer <br /> and additional duties are added to the Finance Administrative Assistant. <br /> This option is displayed below: <br /> Pequot Lakes <br /> Option 2 Table of Organization <br /> 14.5 FTE's <br /> City Council <br /> Administrator <br /> aFPublic Works..:.
