Change Orders —Time Extension Requests <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER MOVED TO APPROVE CHANGE <br /> ORDER NO. 3 REQUESTED BY DECHANTAL EXCAVATING FOR A <br /> TIME EXTENSION ON THE NORTH WASHINGTON AVENUE <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FROM SEPTEMBER 26, 2014, THROUGH <br /> OCTOBER 15, 2014. MAYOR ADAMS SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> Tim Houle noted that the contractor is requesting a time extension due to <br /> weather. Council Member Akerson questioned about penalties for not <br /> finishing the job on time. Tim Houle explained that there are no penalties <br /> however, the contract states that the contractor is responsible for paying <br /> $1,000 per after the due date until completion. Council Member Sjoblad <br /> suggested tabling the issue until the November Council meeting to ensure <br /> that the project gets completed. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER WITHDREW HIS MOTION. MAYOR <br /> ADAMS WITHDREW THE SECOND. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO TABLE CHANGE ORDER <br /> #3 REQUESTED BY DECHANTAL EXCAVATING FOR A TIME <br /> EXTENSION ON THE NORTH WASHINGTON AVENUE <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECT UNTIL THE NOVEMBER 12TH COUNCIL <br /> MEETING. COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION.THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO TABLE CHANGE ORDER <br /> #1 REQUESTED BY HOLDEN ELECTRIC COMPANY FOR A TIME <br /> EXTENSION ON THE STREET LIGHTING COMPONENT OF THE <br /> NORTH WASHINGTON AVENUE PROJECT UNTIL THE NOVEMBER <br /> 12TH COUNCIL MEETING. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10. City Clerk <br /> 10.1. Resolution Appointinq Election Judges <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 14- <br /> 22 APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE 2014 GENERAL <br /> ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 4, 2014. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />
