Soon to be coming on the Park Board agenda will be the updating of <br />electrical services in Trailside Park. <br /> <br />COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE CHANGE OF <br />NAME OF TRAILSIDE NORTH TO PAUL PARK WITH CARRYOVER <br />FUNDING. COONCIL MEMBER SEILS SECONDS THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE USE OF <br />CARRYOVER FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF MORE LIGHTING. COUNCIL <br />SEILS SECONDS THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT MOVED TO APPROVE THE EXPENSE OF <br />$210 FOR DIRECTIONAL SIGNS IN MAYO PARK. COUNCIL MEMBER SEILS <br />SECONDS THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />6. Planning and Zoning <br /> <br />6.1 Planning Commission Report <br /> <br />The September 25, 2023, Staff Report and Council Minutes were presented to <br />Council. <br /> <br />6.2. Final Plat – The Homes on Firewatch Way <br /> <br />Mr. Spiczka stated they are requesting approval of the final plat of the homes on <br />Firewatch Way. <br /> <br />Staff Findings: Staff provides the following findings of fact for consideration by <br />the Planning Commission: <br />1. The applicant is proposing to subdivide a 10-acre parcel into eight <br />residential lots. <br />2. The property is zoned “Transition Residential.” <br />3. The land is properly zoned in its natural state for the intended residential <br />purposes. <br />4. The final plat of the Homes on Firewatch Way is in conformance with the <br />approved preliminary plat of the same name. <br />5. The conditions of preliminary plat approval have been fulfilled. <br />6. The design standards of the plat are in conformance with the City of Pequot <br />Lakes Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance. <br />7. The final plat document has been prepared by licensed land surveyor- <br />Cynthia M. Hidde, License No, 44881. <br />8. Appropriate easements are included on the final plat. The easement <br />granted to the City of Pequot Lakes for the temporary cul-de-sac located on <br />Lot 3, Block 2 will be recorded concurrently with the final plat. <br />9. The city engineer has reviewed and approved plans for the proposed public <br />roadway. <br />10. There are no private covenants proposed.
