City Council Minutes <br /> December 1,2008 <br /> Page 6 of 9 <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO ENTER INTO AN <br /> AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF BREEZY POINT AND PEQUOT <br /> LAKES SCHOOL DISTRICT TO PURCHASE AND INSTALL A NEW <br /> WARNING SIREN BY THE EAGLE VIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL <br /> SPLITTING THE COST WITH PEQUOT LAKES' SHARE OF THE COST <br /> AT $5,800. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> Mike Loven questioned who would pick up the cost for maintenance <br /> agreement and installation. Council Member Oraskovich stated that the <br /> price includes the installation but not the maintenance contract. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN AMENDED THE MOTION TO STATE THAT <br /> ALL ENTITIES INVOLVED SHARE THE MAINTENANCE OF THE <br /> LIGHT. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> MOTION AS AMENDED CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 11. City Clerk's Report <br /> Report received by Council. <br /> 11.1. Resolution Amending Fee Schedule <br /> The Clerk informed the Council that the City's fee schedule is reviewed on <br /> a yearly basis to ensure that fees charged cover the cost of the service <br /> provided. Council Member Ryan recommended removing the storm water <br /> fee until a decision is made on that issue. The Clerk recommended <br /> changing the NSF Check charge to $25.00 and adding a stop payment <br /> charge of$25.00. The Council concurred with the recommendations. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 08- <br /> 39 AMENDING THE FEE SCHEDULE AS ADOPTED BY CITY <br /> ORDINANCE. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 11.2. Call Special Meeting for End of Year <br /> The Clerk explained that there will be a need to hold a special meeting <br /> toward the end of the year to pay year-end bills. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO CALL A SPECIAL <br /> MEETING OF THE COUNCIL FOR DECEMBER 23, 2008, AT 9:00 A.M. <br />
