5. Report all unsafe conditions to their department head and file the <br /> appropriate accident or injury related forms immediately <br /> 6. Recommend ideas for improving city services or methods for <br /> achieving greater efficiency or economy. <br /> 7. HOURS OF WORK <br /> Work Schedules <br /> Work schedules for personnel shall be established by the appropriate <br /> department head with the approval of the City Council liaisons. The regular <br /> work week shall be the calendar week, commencing on Monday (12:00AM) <br /> and concluding on Sunday (11:59 PM), and shall include five eight hour <br /> working days, except as otherwise established by the department head with <br /> the approval of the City Council liaison in accordance with the custom and <br /> needs of the department. <br /> Schedule Records <br /> All departments shall record their work schedules in the office of the City <br /> Clerk. The departments may set or change work schedules as required. All <br /> changes shall be recorded in advance wherever practicable. <br /> Paydays <br /> Employees shall be paid bi-weekly on alternate Fridays. When a payday <br /> falls on a holiday, employees shall receive their pay the preceding work day. <br /> Time sheets shall be delivered to the City Clerk on the Monday following <br /> the pay period. Employees shall receive their pay within five (5) working <br /> days of delivery. In the event an employee's time card is not delivered in a <br /> timely manner, payment for the pay period shall be delayed until the next <br /> regular pay day after which the time card is delivered. <br /> 10 <br />
