\.. information contained in the personnel files shall be referred to the City
Clerk prior to the release of any information.
Personnel File Review
At any time a personnel file is reviewed either by a member of the City
Council or by the employee, the review shall be made in the presence of the
department head or City Council liaison, and at least one other City
employee or City Council member.
6. CONDUCT
Responsibilities of City Employees
Efficient and effective delivery of municipal services requires active effort
and cooperation between City employees and the general public. The City of
Pequot Lakes stresses a "team approach" attitude when working for the City.
Each employee and each department of the City are dependent, in some way,
`— on the other employees and departments of the City. It is particularly
important that all work undertaken by City employees be accomplished
expeditiously, efficiently, economically and with cooperation from and
respect for fellow employees. To reach this goal, the establishment of rules
for employee conduct and responsibility are required.
It shall be the responsibility of all City employees to perform their duties and
responsibilities to the best of their ability at all times and to continually
strive to:
1. Improve their performance
2. Render prompt, friendly service to the public at all times
3. Read, understand, and comply with the rules and regulations as set
forth in this personnel policy manual, administrative regulations and
department rules
4. Conduct themselves with decorum and respond to inquiries and
■..- information with patience and every possible courtesy
9
