WaterNVastewater Monthly Report <br /> Report received by Council. Council Member Oraskovich questioned the <br /> progress on finding out why revenues are short. Gary Giltner stated that <br /> he and Council Member Ryan are reviewing the larger commercial <br /> accounts. He noted that some accounts are showing a reduction in <br /> revenue such as TDS, Lakes State Bank, both due to using a second <br /> meter for watering; Sibley Station due to being closed for several months, <br /> J.M. Oil due to new bait tanks that use water recirculation; and the Oasis <br /> Restaurant due to new ownership and downsizing of the restaurant. <br /> Council Member Ryan stated that Precision Water Jet is a large water <br /> user and will be moving out of the City soon. Council Member Ryan <br /> requested Gary to look at the costs associated with summer usage. <br /> Gary informed the Council of a letter sent to unmetered accounts. He <br /> noted that the letter is intended to let the owners know that they must get <br /> metered. <br /> 9. Police Chief Monthly Report <br /> Report received by Council. <br /> 10. City Clerk's Report <br /> Report received by Council. <br /> 10.1. Preliminary General Fund Levy and HRA Levy <br /> The Clerk explained that at the August Council Budget Work Shop, the <br /> Council made some budget amendments to the preliminary general fund <br /> budget. The Clerk reviewed the changes made by the Council. She <br /> indicated that the changes reflect a $23,210 reduction in the budget which <br /> is a 4.21% increase from last year's levy. The City will not know how this <br /> affects the City's tax rate until mid to end September. The Clerk <br />
