COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 6.3. Final Plat of Wilderness Resort Villas, LLC Chuck Marohn reviewed the staff report on final plat. He noted that the Planning Commission has reviewed the final plat application and is recommending approval based on 18 findings of fact stated in the Planning Commission Report to the Mayor and City Council dated August 21, 2008, and on two conditions. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE FINAL PLAT OF WILDERNESS RESORT VILLAS BASED ON 18 FINDINGS OF FACT STATED IN THE PLANNING COMMISSION REPORT TO THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL DATED AUGUST 21, 2008, AND BASED ON THE FOLLOWING TWO CONDITIONS: 1. THE CITY ATTORNEY PROVIDES WRITTEN ACCEPTANCE OF THE TITLE WORK PRIOR TO THE CITY SIGNING THE FINAL PLAT DOCUMENTS. 2. AS A CONDITION OF APPROVAL OF THE ROAD VACATIONS AND THE FINAL PLAT, THE DEVELOPER IS TO PROVIDE A DEDICATED INGRESS AND EGRESS EASEMENT TO THE PROPERTY OWNERS OF METTLER POINT AND THE EXTENSION OF HIGH PINE STREET. COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 6.4. Rezone of Wilderness Resort Villas, LLC Chuck Marohn reviewed the staff report. He noted that the official zoning map needs to be amended to realign the zoning to match the new final plat. He stated that the request is to rezone from open space and shoreline commercial to the same zoning with a new configuration of the lots. He stated that the Planning Commission has reviewed the application and has recommended approval based on 8 findings of fact listed in the Planning Commission Report to the Mayor and City Council dated August 21, 2008.
