City Council Minutes <br /> September 2, 2008 <br /> Page 5 of 12 <br /> PINE STREET LOCATED IN PART OF GOVERNMENT LOT 2 AND <br /> PART OF GOVERNMENT LOT 3, SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 136, <br /> RANGE 29. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 6.3. Final Plat of Wilderness Resort Villas, LLC <br /> Chuck Marohn reviewed the staff report on final plat. He noted that the <br /> Planning Commission has reviewed the final plat application and is <br /> recommending approval based on 18 findings of fact stated in the <br /> Planning Commission Report to the Mayor and City Council dated August <br /> 21, 2008, and on two conditions. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE FINAL <br /> PLAT OF WILDERNESS RESORT VILLAS BASED ON 18 FINDINGS <br /> OF FACT STATED IN THE PLANNING COMMISSION REPORT TO THE <br /> MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL DATED AUGUST 21, 2008, AND BASED <br /> ON THE FOLLOWING TWO CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. THE CITY ATTORNEY PROVIDES WRITTEN ACCEPTANCE OF <br /> THE TITLE WORK PRIOR TO THE CITY SIGNING THE FINAL PLAT <br /> DOCUMENTS. <br /> 2. AS A CONDITION OF APPROVAL OF THE ROAD VACATIONS <br /> AND THE FINAL PLAT, THE DEVELOPER IS TO PROVIDE A <br /> DEDICATED INGRESS AND EGRESS EASEMENT TO THE <br /> PROPERTY OWNERS OF METTLER POINT AND THE EXTENSION OF <br /> HIGH PINE STREET. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 6.4. Rezone of Wilderness Resort Villas, LLC <br /> Chuck Marohn reviewed the staff report. He noted that the official zoning <br /> map needs to be amended to realign the zoning to match the new final <br /> plat. He stated that the request is to rezone from open space and <br /> shoreline commercial to the same zoning with a new configuration of the <br /> lots. He stated that the Planning Commission has reviewed the application <br /> and has recommended approval based on 8 findings of fact listed in the <br /> Planning Commission Report to the Mayor and City Council dated August <br /> 21, 2008. <br />
