City Council Minutes
September 2, 2008
Page 3of12
Tim Houle explained the process and purpose of a facility plan. He noted
that because of the proximity of the spray irrigation fields to the Highway
371 corridor, the spray irrigation site will more than likely not be the
highest and best use of the land. He stated that there are other options
such as using a step by step process to complete the plan so that one
budget year would not be so heavily impacted.
COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO AMEND THE MOTION TO
USE A PHASING PROCESS OVER A 1 TO 3 YEAR TIMEFRAME TO
COMPLETE THE FACILITY STUDY.
