Maintenance Supervisor's Report <br /> Report received by Council. <br /> 12. Engineering <br /> 12.1. Trailside Estates Update <br /> Tim Houle explained that he, Mike Loven and Dave Sjoblad visited the site <br /> to determine if the vegetation met the specified requirements. He <br /> reminded the Council that it was a directive of the Council to have the <br /> vegetation at the required level by September 1St. Tim noted that the <br /> developer has stated that the sod is dormant and also stated that he has <br /> put out some seed. Tim Houle noted that there is some vegetation coming <br /> up however, it does not meet the 70% vegetated cover. Council Member <br /> Nagel stated that he toured the site and felt it was about 90% vegetated if <br /> you are considering the entire development. Tim Houle noted that he is <br /> basing this on the public right-of-ways. Tim Houle noted that there are <br /> costs in pursuing the default provisions. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED THE FOLLOWING: <br /> 1. TO RESCIND THE AUGUST MOTION WITH THE SEPTEMBER <br /> 1ST DEADLINE FOR VEGETATION COMPLETION <br /> 2. THAT THE CITY WILL NOT ACCEPT THE ENTIRE PROJECT <br /> UNTIL, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GENERAL STORMWATER <br /> PERMIT, THERE IS A MINIMUM 70% VEGETATIVE COVER <br /> WITHIN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY <br /> 3. THAT THE DEVELOPER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REPAIRING <br /> ANY DEFICIENCIES OR EROSION CAUSED BY LACK OF <br /> VEGETATION <br /> 4. THAT THE CITY WILL EVALUATE THE VEGETATION AGAIN, <br /> MOST LIKELY NEXT SPRING <br />
