�-' 11.7 In the event of an employee death or disability, severance pay otherwise payable <br /> under this Article shall be paid to the employee's beneficiary as stated in <br /> connection with any insurance policy issued under the provisions of Article 15. <br /> Such pay shall be computed at the employee's regular straight time hourly rate of <br /> pay at the time of the disability, or death. <br /> 11.8 For employees receiving weekly benefits under the Workers Compensation Act, <br /> accumulated, unused sick leave may be used to make up the difference between <br /> such benefits and the employee's normal net earnings each period. <br /> 11.9 Regular part-time employees shall earn a prorata amount based on the number of <br /> hours worked in the previous calendar year. The prorata amount for the first year <br /> will be based on a projected number of hours that the employee is expected to <br /> work. <br /> ARTICLE 12 <br /> VACATIONS <br /> 12.1 All regular full-time employees shall earn vacation on the following basis: <br /> 1 year 40 hours <br /> 2 years through 4 consecutive years 80 hours <br /> 5 consecutive years of service 88 hours <br /> 6 consecutive years 96 hours <br /> 7 consecutive years 104 hours <br /> 8 consecutive years 112 hours <br /> 9 consecutive years 120 hours <br /> 10 consecutive years 128 hours <br /> 11 consecutive years 136 hours <br /> 12 consecutive years 144 hours <br /> 13 consecutive years 152 hours <br /> 14 or more years of continuous service 160 hours <br /> Vacation leave shall be accrued during the probationary period, but may not be <br /> taken until the successful completion of the probationary period. Vacation shall <br /> be credited to an employee's account on a semi-monthly basis. <br /> 12.2 Regular part-time employees are entitled to vacation leave on a prorata basis <br /> according to the number of hours they worked in the previous calendar year.
