Mr. Keen stated <br /> that the survey was done in two weeks and includes landowners and <br /> residents. <br /> Mike Dubay, 34115 Birch Trail, Pequot Lakes—Mr. Dubay discussed the <br /> planning and zoning services offered by Crow Wing County. Mr. Dubay <br /> stated that Jenkins Township's comprehensive plan should be followed <br /> and all communities need to work together. <br /> C. Presentation from Jon Lubke <br /> Mayor Jon Lubke from the City of Jenkins addressed the Council. Mr. <br /> Lubke noted that both cities have had a positive working relationship and <br /> this annexation would tear the communities apart. Mr. Lubke <br /> recommended tabling this annexation issue until next year and work on a <br /> plan to benefit all communities. <br /> B. Request by Jenkins Township Board to Adopt Resolution <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO TABLE THE JOINT <br /> RESOLUTION FOR ORDERLY ANNEXATION BETWEEN THE <br /> TOWNSHIP OF JENKINS AND THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> UNTIL THE MAY,2009 CITY COUNCIL MEETING. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. ON A ROLL CALL <br /> VOTE, COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL VOTED AYE, COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER ORASKOVICH VOTED AYE, COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> RYAN VOTED AYE, COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD VOTED <br /> AYE, MAYOR MALECHA VOTED AYE.
