MOTION CARRIED 4.0. <br />9.2, Street Department Employee P.robationary Period <br />Mike Loven explained that Jerry Logelin, maintenance worker, has <br />successfully completed the six-month probation period and recommended <br />that he move to Step 2 of the pay plan. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER MOVED TO AUTHORIZE JERRY <br />LOGELIN TO MOVE TO STEP 2 OF THE PAY PLAN EFFECTIVE <br />AUGUST 4,2014. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4.0. <br />9,3. Consider Quotes for North Washinqton Avenue Street Liqhts <br />Tim Houle explained that he received two quotes for the North <br />Washington Avenue Street Lights. He recommended that the City accept <br />the low quote from Holden Electric. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER MOVED TO AWARD THE NORTH <br />WASHINGTON AVENUE STREET LIGHT BID TO HOLDEN ELECTRIC <br />COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $16,800. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4.0. <br />9.4. Draft Facility Plan <br />Tim Houle presented the draft facility plan for the City's wastewater <br />system. He explained the three alternatives that were considered in the <br />study. <br />1. Replace the existing spray pivot irrigators - $2.6 million for filling in <br />the current City-owned land, and $1.1 million for the additional land <br />approach - $3.7 million dollars. <br />2. Rapid lnfiltration Basin - $1,2 million
